What to expect, the 7 P's
Hello All
I've just joined this group. Owner of 1998 black Terrano 3dr Salomon since 2014. it's got 114k on clock. Scruffy on the outside, but doesn't appear to have been off road much, if ever. I use it as my main car, so it's on road most days when I'm home, I work away for a couple of weeks most months, sometimes longer. It's had the major welding done, recently passed my third MOT with no major issues. Oil changed at each MOT, I don't do many miles in a year. I'm starting to wonder what should I expect to start failing, I was thinking of putting it in for a service, change belts, change oil filter again, drained and replace coolant. . . . . . maybe an under spray.. . . . Should I service alternator and starter, or are they long laster's. . . . . Any advice for preparing for Terrano's old age, or tips in preventative maintenance would be most welcome |
