hope your wife makes a good recovery i was hit last year by a dutch driver in my village his insurance company tried the 50 /50 approach even after originally saying it was my fault he was parked on a nearside grass verge he pulled out into my path from my left with no indication and admitted it was his fault at the time as he forgot to check behind him i could not avoid hitting his volvo as i had a tipper lorry coming the other way after much time pursuing his insurance they have finally admitted it was his fault and now going to pay me all i have claimed for and my no claims bonus would no be affected as has been said before they like the easy way out
