Default Vehicle Battery Prices - seasonal?

It might sound odd but all three of the vehicles in our household have essentially the same battery a type 019 size with variations around 90aH and 850 ish cca.

I have replaced two batteries in the last 6 months fitting a Yuasa Battery to the Jeep and a Platina Calcium battery to the Chrysler.

I was pleased with the price of the Platina at around £65 with a 4 year warranty and now see it's down to £55.99 with an even cheaper BullitBatt at £53.99 all delivered with decent warranty - 4 years. Even the likes of Varta seem much cheaper- presumably the mild winter has caused a glutt in the market?
