My wife works for a major airline. She looks after major customers at Heathrow, rockstars, popstars, big business, foreign diplomats etc.

The airline has a 747 that leaves Accra in Ghana every evening.

Wednesday evening it got permission to taxi out for take-off, when it got to the runway, it couldn't take off as they had started digging it up!

Gotta love the sub-continents for timing!
