Terranosuarus - Modified X plate SWB mk3 TDi for sale, project
Known to a number on here my truck (the one in my avatar) is for sale and I am open to offers for a quick sale.
It's currently situated just south of Selby and will need trailering away. I just don't have the time to do anything with it, that and I have moved away and its on the drive of my old house and needs to be gone There's some details and pics here - http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com/f...ead.php?t=3485 Some spec Registered March 2001 - one of the very last on the pre emissions banding tax rates (I bought it for that reason) Mk3 SWB 2.7 TDi - No MOT, no Tax (SORN), done about 90k I think Suspension - +2" suspension lift (the springs I used to sell - not just LWB springs which are too hard for a SWB) with Rough country shocks, front shocks are brand new zero miles, rears are +2" and have done no more than 2000 miles. Brand new zero miles front drop links. Steering idler brace. Engine Bay Set up for twin Battery but only one currently fitted. K&N replacement filter Tyres - four 31 x 10.5 x 15" Maxxis Buckshot Mudders done less than 2000 miles and no chunks missing from offroading etc, spare is a colway 31 x 10.50 mud tyre Wheels - 4 split rim style Mitsubishi (L400 IIRC) alloys - these do need refurbishing but no problem for an offroader. Spare is an eight spoke "weller" style steel. (the wheels and tyres in pic in link above are not the ones on it now) Brakes - Brand new zero miles rear brake shoes Towbar - proper plated tow bar with electrics located on the bodywork below the nearside rear light cluster so the tow bar can easily be removed when not needed Interior - 3 x 12" fluorescent lights, various elasticated nets for storage Boot - racked out with plywood (for lightness) shelving for secure stowage of equipment Electrics - there is a very comprehensive auxiliary loom fed fro the secondary battery so you can leave any of the auxiliaries on without flattening the battery. This was done by me (I used to build high end historic rally car looms from scratch and still make an occasional one) and is to a very high standard not your usual 4x4 wiring, the wiring is set up for the following.
Everything is switched, relayed and fused separated with a dedicated fuse box high up out of the way under the bonnet (will find some pics). Roof rack - alloy roof rack sat on thule cross bars on custom fitted roof rails. The roof rails go all the way to the front of the truck unlike std Nissan ones. The rack has 4 rectangular (2 spot, 2 drive) at the front and 2 bosch driving lights at the rear In the middle it has a second spare wheel carrier fitted. Bad Points - the EML light is on and it is down on power but will still out run a Landy 200 or 300TDi but can no longer cut it with a TD5. Those that have been out with me (if any are left here) will be able to confirm this was a quick and well handling truck on the road and was equally at home off road. I've flashed the codes and it needs a No 1 injector as the lift needle sensor in it was failed. It has been stood for a couple of years so is somewhat grubby inside and out, and the centre console needs refitting (removed to remove radios etc). It has the usual rust on the rear panel below the door. Other than that to the very best of my knowledge everything else is mechanically just as it should be. Spares - I have a collection of various parts for it including
I am open to offers and want it gone quick, will sell with or without the roof rack and lights, and could provide another set of wheels for transport (frontera alloys with road tyres, 16" IIRC) if someone didn't want the wheels and tyres on it. I WILL NOT BREAK it beyond that I am too far away from where it is at the moment otherwise I would be MOTing it cleaning up and selling it like that. |
