New life after oil change

This may sound strange, but took the T2 into the garage where I used to work for oil & filter change today (I had to have a garage stamp for the warranty)The thing that has got me is it now feels more alive & pulling better than ever :? I was wondering if this normal for a TDI after an oil change. They put in 15w40 semi syn oil & by god they were calling me as they had a job getting at the oil filter
