we got given a gas cooker for the bungalow , so need a gas fitter to " plug it in " to the gas ......... the cooker has a pipe thingie at the back , and there is a gas pipe with a blanking plate on the wall .........

so rung up a gas fitter ........ £105 plus vat plus parts to connect it

......is he extracting the urine , or is that really the price of plugging a cooker in ?
