"New Posts" Tab

I was just wondering, I have often noticed that when I first enter the forum via this URL http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com/indexvbp.php, it often shows some threads, that then disappear later when I press the "New Post" tab to update.

Today, there was a new post by Zippy, about Landrovers, in the Jokes area, but when you press the "New Posts" Tab, it does not show up any more.

Any idea why, and can it be fixed?
