You poor sod, I'm so glad I live in the sticks
 However the thought of NOT being allowed to use CCTV to secure your goods seems a bit arse too  I'd report the incedent to local plod and complain in writing to the council. If you dont get a sensible response in a week , then stick your cctv in.
