Sapphie, my X-Trail proved herself yesterday big time.
Not quite Green Landing but, more Massive Puddle jumping...lol

I was driving down to Lepe Country Park (Facing the ISle of Wight) and driving along the coast road which is literally feet away from the sea, anyway...HIgh tide and stiff South Westerly gale glowing up the Solent, the road was flooded, totally, following an A4 Quatro who gave up, Shoved Sapphie in Diff Lock and ploughed through to stop by Lepe, where the gates were closed and all sorts of smaller cars doing U turns.
So up rocks, young Cav in his Mondeo, with usual crap in the back window showing off to his girlfriend in the car, watching as I saw him try the same route I'd just come down....By this time the waves are crashing over the sea defenses and water is getting deeper on the road (Just above hub height on the X'y), yes you guessed it, hitting the water way to fast, so needles to say nearly made it the end only to have engine swamped on the last bend
Epic Fail - would have loved to have heard what his Girlfriend was calling him...LOL
