Default Failed Spanish MOT

Well, the trusty old T2 failed it's ITV (Spanish MOT) - rear tyres and upper steering ball joint. I knew the front tyres would fail so I fitted new ones, rears looked to still have 1.5-2mm at the most worn part, going up to around 5mm at the outer edges so I thought they would be ok. not so.
Ball joint had at most 2mm of up and down play! Think the tester had it in for me!
Had a pair of Bridgestone AT tyres fitted to front, Sempero (Spanish?) AT on the rear plus the ball joint, goodbye 525€
Well, at least I'm sorted for another year.
