Just removed my broken wing-mounted electric aerial and replaced it with a short rubber one - what a PIG of a job! Removing the electric one was straight forward enough, but fitting the cable and retaining nut of the new one to the underside of the wing was well nigh impossible unless you have 12" long fingers the diameter of knitting needles. Finished up by supergluing the nut to the connector and tightening it by turning the aerial!
Then to cap it all the cable was too short by 2" - had to fit the radio then get my hand in from the back to insert the plug - never again!
