Spanish MOT
Well, the nice senor at the ITV (Spanish MOT) centre said all he could find wrong with my Terrano was a foofed rear ARB drop link - that's after 12 months and 12,000 miles of pot-holed, rutted and often flooded mountain tracks, still a fail though (no such thing as an advisory here).
So, drop link now replaced and it's back to the centre for my little windscreen sticker (yes, you get a sticker showing month and year last tested, easy for the Policia/Guardia to spot unroadworthy cars) 08.20 Sat morning and it's another year of worry-free? motoring! No mention of the smell of frying from the exhaust (SVO/WVO illegal here) the handbrake that needs a two-handed pull, the emissions from a 145,000 mile engine or the LED sidelights and number plate lights, I'm sure I must have caught him just as he was about to have his siesta, so he wanted it through quickly! |
