Bonnie rip
We lost Bonnie aged 17 years at 11 o`clock Friday night .
she passed away while my wife Sheila was cuddling her. Bonnie came to us at 18 months old as a rescue dog. she had been picked up abandoned in Nottingham ,she already had a litter of puppys in her tummy. She gave birth and the pupps also found new homes. Her job was to keep my B/C Emma 6 months old out of trouble and keep her company ,when she got stressed. Which she did a fine job of. We found she loved the sea and would swim and chase after each wave inturn and go after the next one as each broke over her head. In later life and her hearing failing , we had to tie a clothes line to her to get her back or else she would have finished up in France.lol. when ever you told Bonny off you you would be wise not to wag a finger at her ,because she would very quickly bite it. Only time she showed aggression was if she felt threatened. The last couple of years she has been showing her age ,but she accepted the job of looking after my new B/C pup Molly Collie now aged 5 months. although molly would sometimes play a bit rough with her she was always very tolerant towards her. Sheila shed a few tears but the time had come. Rest in piece girl a job well done. |
