Cameraman had one ,not very good on juice as its a rebadged mazda

andy towed his 12/14 foot single axle and got about 12mpg from sheffield
to wickstead, dumped it as soon as could for a td5 disco series 2.

loved the mav but not its thirst...

further they are essentially front wheel drive, no low box
and rear axle electronic/viscous arrangement.

think freelander. not seen one with a twin axle, mind would
need to have a fuel bowser in tow behind that then.

Certainly looks a lot of car for the money which would hopefully leave some left over for an lpg conversion

Mazda Tribute, I think, Mazda don't recognise the chassis numbers so parts difficult to source, and Ford dealers didn't know they "made" it.
That's according to a friend of mine.
Once Mazda reallised it was one of theirs.... because it looks the same.. they were more able to help.
Check dealers first before you buy.
MPG looks dreadful, I hope to get 24 mpg hauling my 2 tonne boat soon, I'll try and check it.. Probably closer to 20mpg....
