thing to bear in mind with a road trip like this is that you're talking a fair old traipse to get to anywhere mountainous, but its well worth the effort....I'm talking an overnight drive of 10-12 hours (so you don't get nicked for speeding like I did this time)....but thats what road trips are about! |

Hi all! Just arrived home 4hours ago from a 10 week trip around France, covered 3974miles t2 no problems, towing caravan, used 1/2 litre oil. Will let you know how much diesel when I have totted it all up, price of fuel between 98cents and 1.02 euro per litre but that was buying it at super markets. Weather very, very hot, france had it's hottest aug on record, 36-37c and one day it was 45c in the caravan when we had left it with windows closed! Off to bed now havent slept in a real bed for some time but to be honest my wife and I prefer sleeping in our old but very comfortable caravan....... good night all..... bri

Or you could all travel to the home of Guinness and we speak the same language (almost) a hell of a lot cheaper and real fun guaranteed. Study the link below before deciding but I think we have something for everyone http://www.leinster4x4.ie/index.php?...id=2&Itemid=57 |
