I'm really pleased for you Colin....its been a hassle for you. had a little run up to Llanddewi Brefi this morning with the redhead, nice day for it, took the mountain road back to Ffarmers and then the back way to Rhandirmwyn, nice little drive out, had me drooling for Strata again....tempted to look for campsites there next weekend but its easter, everyone and they granny will probably be up there

Off to get my bits from Wigan tomorrow, just noticed theres a pair of front wings in there as well!!!! Already had someone trying to buy a headlight!

Probably worth a little planning drive, er I mean meeting
Re broadcast the dates too so if anyone wants to do one day they know where to meet etc.

No I agree some 'research' is required, weekend after easter maybe? I'll have to tell the redhead I'm helping old ladies across the road or something...

Ah, the village I lived in as a kid.
Still visit there regularly, well more precisely the 'new inn'.

Theres a great lane that you access from Llanddewi Brefi that takes you to the northern end of LLyn Brianne / Southern Strata.

Lane details - http://www.trailwise.org.uk/do_quick...?uid=SN7354-01

"What an amazing route, hard stone for most of it, a short section with ruts. Very steep climb up to start then gentle ontop, steep decent at end with some good rock crawling involved. Was done with a group of four Freelanders, all lifted and full under body protection"
