Where in the North East
Just for a bit of fun, which town is in the picture. Theres 3 significant landmarks that definitely local North Easterners should get (can you name them? and more ? ).
And where was I standing when I took it? Auf wiedershien..................any more clues and I'd be giving the post code too |

Top marks
I was in the queue for the transporter (which is out of shot to the right) and the sun was just coming up. Lovely view for the area. |

Yes I did thanks. Absolutely over the moon. I phoned a few places and left my number, one lady was about to ring back and say no sorry when the phone went and it was a cancellation
Cut a long story short 3 nights on a cl between Ullswater and Penrith. The photo was around the 8:00 mark back in Feb. Using the bridge cuts loads off my travel time around that time of day. |

Good luck. I left my number at loads throughout The Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. Most dont bother getting back to you but some who did said that they often get cancellations in the week before a b/h from over keen individuals who booked way in advance as well as no shows on Thurs Fri. if I get told of anything I'll let you know

Sorry Daved,
Just that when i drive up the A19 and go over the bridge and look down over the town it reminds me of the batman films with smog, smoke and the steam coming from the drains. Mav. |
