Hello
Hi I have just bought a terrano 2.7tdi predominantly for a tow vehicle, it is suffering from servere power loss I have read a lot on the MAF sensor affecting this, however have tested it and it appears to be working the Engine management light is on does anyone have other suggestions on what it might be.

my guess is ialwas MAF.. but what do i know how did you test it? un plug and it get worse or the same? zippy |

Hi Zippy,
Thanks for the response, well I used a multimeter to measure the voltage variations as the car goes through the rev range and they do appear to be changing inline with what I have read up on. |

tiz ok.
try running with out it pluged in. see how well it runns i know its £10, but joining up youd get to see loads of past troubl just like yours. |

Hiya mate welcome to the mad house, have you tried the mini fuel filter, do a search on this site and you should see some posts about it or try the download section. I had the same problem and it turned out to be the small filter needed cleaned, its been working great ever since.
