Hey there fellas
Bought my First Terrano II 4 months ago, it's a 99' 2.7tdi.
Found this forum and its full of knowledge! Im from Israel and we have a respectable Terrano 2 community here, but this forum is far more comprehensive. As a self learner and worker I had to join.. also this is a benefit because off roading can be very costly for a young man here in Israel. Already replaced clutch (was a heck of a job for me), clutch fork/lever+pin, radiator+hoses, fuel return line from injector to pump (after it just popped off out of wear) and other minor fixes here and there (engine mounts, sun visor etc..). Any word of advice for a Terrano beginner? And here are some photos from the last months This is after I broke it 3 days after buying it (clutch fork pin jumped and fork stuck into the cluch - probably has to do with me not driving manual for a long time) This is when I took my gf to an unintended mud run .. at the last hurdle before end of the track we stuck and had to call and wait for help . well at least we dipped ourselves clean off all mud in the river afterwards and she is okay going with me on a trip again (no mud though) |

Hi and welcome mate
As said rust is our main problem over here in the UK. You will probably have issues with the front anti roll bar drop links breaking and the steering idler bending. |
