Got Freddy out for his 1st ever camping trip... We met up with an old friend of mine and his kids!

It was a good night all round!

Aw, he loved it!

It was a nice easy tester to see if he took to it alright!

He was no bother, and can't wait to go again!

The only thing that wasn't adventurous was his choice of BBQ food... A Bread Bun!

Depending on what he eats, there's no reason he can't have his regular stuff at camp. But get him started on the home bbq to enjoy the pleasure of camp food.

I do have little question about chefs skills though... Was he protesting about the quality of cooking?

When I took my young lad camping for first time by our two selves it was with a group of friends and I was criticised for letting him basically eat what he wanted for tea. The rest of us tucked into a communal spag bol but all he wanted was jam butties. The way I looked at it and told them he’s on holiday for a couple of days, he can eat better at home but for a day or so it isn’t going to cause any harm. More about being happy and I can see you have that sorted.
