Well done Doug!
Yep all from Missan Exeter. I phoned them just for a laugh, and was already to spend £1100 on a flywheel elsewhere, but the guy gave me trade terms on everything required which meant in particular the Genuine Nissan Dual Mass (Exedy) flywheel was £403 +vat. Flywheel stretch bolts are a rip-off at £9+vat each though, and seven are required! Will replace the main output oil seal while it's all out to. |

It started to slip in most gears. So time was up.
The last flywheel was fitted in 2009 looking at the paperwork. Not a bad innings. |

I think mine has had a replacement clutch, it doesn't slip unless I turn the magic dial too far so its good for now, probably be putting a 3.0 one in when I start playing with turbos n stuff

Basically....well exactly really... a variable resistor spliced into a fuel pump wire which lets me add extra fuel by turning a little knob. I'm pretty sure it lets a fuel limiting ring travel further than it usually would. I leave it set in one position usually, giving me a bit extra all the time but I can turn it more when needed, and if I crank it up and floor it it makes a big black cloud, especially if engine speed is low, great for when the chavs are driving a wee bit close
