Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

This unit gave hassle as pressure switch pulled in when fan on but did not release when fan off so did not cut gas as it should, much head scratching till I got meter on it with Sarah playing with controls while I monitored in the roof space, will fit a pressure switch from a boiler tomorrow

Well worked all day today, completed boxing over new soil pipe from new WC plus covered it in plastic sheet, 16 feet long, wall paper guys were in with some very nice paper and should be done tomorrow, pics on Monday, opening day for VIP's is Sunday 12th, I still have 4 complete WC's & basins to fit plus connect up CH & cellar chiller to connect/fit plus of course guide other trades as to what to do, but we will get there, we have a good group of guys and girls, and I am very pleased with progress, bearing in mind we have not been working to any sort of plans/drawings, it has all come out of the owners head on a daily basis with multiple changes of direction, so to be just one week over the 8 weeks estimated is very good especially considering we did the roof project which was programmed for after opening which in itself took Dave and his 3 lads one whole week, so yes I am a happy bunny, worn out but happy, Rick

Day off today, well almost, burnt all the rubbish dumped here from the job 3 van loads, did not take long, my fire basket is made from scaffold put locks (5ft square) and cut a marble slab for a mate on my wet diamond cutter, apart from that did nothing, Rick

Not a very good day Monday, Dave and his lads are digging up the front part of the Pavement own'd by the shop in order to put block paving in, so he lifted the drain inspection cover to find the system was backed up, so soon as I arrived I had to shoot off home to get some drain clearing kit, 2 hours later after clearing the blockage and extracting some blackened stone debris from the interceptor, sent one of the lads to bung some bog roll down a loo and flush it, after 4 attempts and no paper showing we lifted one of the internal covers and sent a dustbin of water down, this bought forth lots more black stone amongst other more normal drain debris, used the gully scoop to extract this from the interceptor and did it again, and a much lesser amount of rubbish came forth, so not a lot of plumbing done that day.

Today I wish I could say it was better but alas no, first I dropped my mobile in a WC, retrieved it quick pronto, and extracted the battery, this evening I have dried it out and it works but not quite as it should so will be looking for another tomorrow, about an hour after this episode the Chef asked me if the combi/steam oven was all hooked up I said yes fire it up, all went well for about 20 mins then lecy was heard calling my name, and he said it went bang and although heating the fan was not running, so off with its side for some checks, looks like the fan motor has fried the main board, not good, ever feel you would have been better off staying in bed, I've had better days, will get some pics tomorrow as the rest of it is coming along nicely, Rick

I feel for you big time... I have had days like that, and you feel by the end, you are actually further back from the end point than when you started the day.

Hope Today makes up for it.

This is the garden hose connected to the over pressure discharge on a sealed system boiler, it terminates inside the boxing directly over the disable WC should of added that the condensate waste was of electrical conduit with screw on covers for the corners, wondered why there were water stains down the wall !
