quite rare normally diesel's that river we did the other week see post sarn helen its more fun going the other way, up the steps some of the landy's refused to do it its a great run though... the start of that section is a mile from home i believe its closed now to motor vehicles we still do it most weeks at night just remove number plates or cover them oh and dont stop and chat to no one looking like a farmer |

its always had vehicle rights of way its the farmers and national park that put a stop to it, that's what i disagree with you cant buy a farm with access then go and change it to suit you. you try stopping people walking through your field if it has a path running through it.
Christ they don't call it the roman road for nothing i expect the roman's ran carts up it its a road thats been there for centuries |
