welcome to the site,their a great bunch. I agree, with the wheel bearing as the wearing at the back of the car. the front could be many things. some gearboxes have a habbit of rattling around in these from past experience. probably worth getting it to a garage if you can,t do it yourself.just to be safe. you don,t want to miss the pleasures of 4x4 driving...it,s brilliant....... dave g

the noise go's off as soon as I press the clutch down but it's been like that for over 2 years without any probs
The humming at the rear could be a wheel bearing or poss prop UJ but other members will prob be able to give you a better idea
