Default newb from staffordshire

hi guys just got a swb maverick i plan on modding and this place looks like the place to be! i`m from a maverick/terrano family this is the 7th we have had,my second but first swb my dad runs a terrano as the farm work horse.any way shes a old girl 1994 228k on the clock but she runs like a dream no gearbox noise and solid as a rock! ill post some pics when i master how to do so

Hi mate and welcome

I was originally from Wednesbury, now living in Solihull. You're no stranger to the motors then

If you want some inspiration for modding your motor, look now further than the project thread in my signature for now, then hit up the Project Thread section later on.

Take a look at Bigbunny's SWB, BonesXU1 has a nice SWB Van too, can't think of many more SWB ones from the top of my head.

Plenty really nice highly modded LWB too, Elty, MadMark to name a few.

Then wait till you see Uncle Rustic's Maverick!!!! 21 years of ownership and it still looks like it's days old from the factory

10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks
Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.
