Quite Amazing
Whilst out with Monkey Dog this morning I found a caterpillar frozen solid, quite literary rock hard.
Jokingly I thought I'd pop it in my pocket, take it home & thaw it out to see if it lives. Popped it on the kitchen window sill. thawed it out & it's moving It's now in a plastic container in the fridge to keep it dormant until next year. Bloody amazing me thinks |

I can't help wondering if the wiring in your head is a little odd.

You're my kind of guy!!! I've done similar things and been called all sorts, I went out into the playground at school with a spoon and a bottle of squeezy honey to save a bee that wasn't doing too well near a bush and the comments and looks I got!!! More life, everything deserves a fighting chance

Frozen !!
Had a similar experience with a Goldfish that was in the School Pond in a block of ice. We thawed it out in the Biology Lab and returned it a few days later to the thawed out pond! Went on to live a few more years no doubt
Fast forward about 40 years and in my garden I found what looked like a frozen dried leaf then realised it was a fish that had jumped out of my pond and landed on the surrounding lawn. Let it float on the top of the pond for a few minutes and saw the gills move a bit. Next day it was swimming around with a tendency to go in a circle. A few months later fins grew back and it fully recovered. |

Always believe a life is a life and a precious thing. If I can help something I try. I kind of feel we are all just animals sharing the same space trying to get somewhere.
However weighing up the size of a uncooperative spider against the size of the stain on the carpet does run through my mind. Thank god we do not have tarantula in this country. |
