terrarno two tone
just like to introduce myself, my friends call me tone i have just joined iam the proud owner of nissan terrano 2 on a v plate my first 4x4 looking forward to meeting you all in the newyear, i brought it from a dealer in the west midlands making one or two weard noises. i could do with some advise on, is there anyone in the derbyshire area who could have a listen for me? happy newyear to you all, see ya soon. tone,

Hi Tone & welcome to the club There are some common noises on T2's so if you can describe the noise & where it's comming from one os us will prob have had it in the past

good to here from you sweety,the gearbox has a loud rattle on tickover, stops when clutch is engaged.also i have a humming/droning noise from the back gets louder at speed many thanks tone.

Sounds just like minethe noise go's off as soon as I press the clutch down but it's been like that for over 2 years without any probs The humming at the rear could be a wheel bearing or poss prop UJ but other members will prob be able to give you a better idea
