France Booze Run Yesterday 34.01 mpg

Yesterday the wife did her Wine run to Calais & back 461 miles - the Jeep Grand Cherokee did an average of 34.03 mpg !

Not bad for an 11 year old 5 cylinder 2.7 Diesel Automatic. She now has almost 91 k miles on the clock.

Had a trawl through my old fuel records and best ever for the r3mR was 28.6 mpg back in 2011.

Engine size the same as the Jeep but not Common Rail Injection system plus Jeep is a more modern Automatic Gearbox with an extra gear or two.
