Also most 33" tyres are 12.5" wide which causes more probelms, you'll need big offset wheels or spacers so they clear on the inside and this will cause even great clearance issues against the back of the arch on lock - good luck, suspect its going to be a lot of work for what amounts to 1/2" under the diff over what I've got on. TBH if I'd been choosing the size I think I'd have gone for 235/85/16s instead, they're te same height but less issues on lock due to them being narrower, also no issues with needing arches, though I do have a set of defender arches down the side of the house should I decide I want to use em. |

PS my 265/75/16s were catching again at the weekend, despite the lift, once I'd give the bushes a bit of abuse. Probably the first time that truck had been properly green laning/off road so the rear bottom arm bush gave a bit and the wheel must have moved bac and it started rubbing again. Got some new poly bushes to o on in the hope that will sort it - now I just need to time to fit em.

Hello Terranosaurus,
is that the bushes for the front bottom wishbones * that you'll be changing ? Do Polybush do a full set for the T2 / Mav ? Lee. * You'll have to excuse me if I've called it the wrong name. As my sig says, I am New To Nissan ! I'm referring to the lower moving "A-frame bit" of the IFS. |

Thanks Mate, I've got a small "clonk" that happens sometimes when pulling away on a hill. I think it's one of the ARB bushes, I'll have to investigate further. While there, I was thinking about doing the set.

Hiya Guys, I changed my 33's to 305/70/16 BFG MT's, but I have got a 3"BL + 3"SL so I had some room but also had to trim a little but they are great, not to sure what size 305's are in old money but they are slightly taller than what I had before.

305/70/16s work out as 32.8" but few 33"s are actually 33" so can beleive they are a bit bigger than your old ones. Theres a thread on Differs at the moment about how big are 33" KL71s really.
Mine work out 31.8" and measure it too - remoulds seem to always e better for size sometimes even bigger than spec. |
