Smile hi

what's happening dudes?
just joined to day and joined the terrano club 3 days ago. i live in OZ at the moment but originally from Leicester. I needed a vehicle for towing and my mechanic mate in NZ advised me to get a nissan. He has a P10 primera that looks stock but goes very fast.
So i looked for a terrano 2 for about a month before settling on a white 97, rx 2.7td with 262000 ks on the clock and a pretty decent service history. almost didn't get it to begin with as it seemed a bit smokey under load but i took the air filter out, which was filthy, and the smoke stopped. First stop repco for a new filter. Probably done 500ks in it since i got it (long drive away) and the more i drive it the more i like it! i was a bit concerned when i first took it away as the temp gauge didn't seem to be moving... i called the last owner and asked him why, if he'd removed the thermostat for some reason, but no, it just stays really low.....is that normal?
It is white, stock standard with manual windows, mirrors, no air bag or abs - so less to go wrong! it just has a 3inch body lift. as for other interests i like to play disc golf....probably the greatest game ever invented, and getting more popular in the uk as i understand.

Welcome a board. Yeah these 2.7's tend to run on the cool side, I stuck an 86 degree stat in mine instead of the stock 82 so that the heater gets warmer in winter.

I used to have a P10 years ago and loved it, if I could get a good one cheap I'd think about it as a run about.
