Yes one of those would be nice

Coincidently I have just resurrected my old Technics deck and upgraded my cd and amp.

Looks a nice set up.

I have a Cyrus Bi-Amped Hi-Fi set up that I upgraded with individual power supplies over a period of 5 years over 18 year ago but these days I only play CD's so my Pioneer Deck is in our attic!

I am loath to part with the Deck as its a direct drive one with a separate motor for the pick up arm and it cost me a fortune in a closing down sale sometime around 1984. It was originally a veneer finish and matched nothing so I stripped it down to the chassis and painted it satin black. At the time the Pink Triangle being mostly manual pick up arms was just too top end for me price wise.

Sweet
My deck is DD and the only original piece from my student days of 88-90. could probably do with a new needle
just keeping my eye out for a cheap set of B&W Speakers probably the DM602 S3's.

I like your choice of speaker they are a nice bit of kit I have a set of Bose Acoustimass 5's not for the purists because of the Sub-Woofer Box but they fill a room with sound and are quite efficient but with a true 100W per channel that's not an issue for me.

That said most of the time I listen to the radio or a CD on a Denon RDS Mini System playing through a pair of 20 year old Mission Bookshelf speakers that my Brother gave me!
