Default testing needle lift valve in injector

Can some one explain how to test ohms on the injector sensor to see if mine has failed. But treat me like numpty as I know very basic electrics but not when it comes to testing ohmage I have a good circuit tester to hand so what setting and what wire do I test from injector and engine running or not. Give me an engine ill rebuild it but electrics are witch craft to me

Engine needs to be off your meter wont be impressed if you are testing ohm's through a circuit that is carrying a voltage.

or your meter is, always check the meter works properly before using, often with multimeters there is a buzzer option for continuity, select that and touch the probes, you get a buzz your good if you don't you may have faulty leads/meter
im sure its fine but we have to check our tools before we use them dont want a misreading at 240v so good practice
