OK Alex, I really never thought Id say it but just for once I like your bumper

Maybe the bumpers actually made you his target?

Again well done taking all the photos.

I hope the police do investigate it, it might open up other cases that were set up.
Where are the other 4 passengers from the car that will be claiming whiplash?
Pity you didn't let his claim go through, what you have evidence of... is just a car rolling back at traffic lights, can't see the police doing much to be honest.
How much to repair your front bumper... looks like expensive damage to me, which might require a complete new bumper.... at last lol...

We have dash cams in both cars now... got one for the boat, to fit soon too, cheap to buy, they can be set to automatic, so they start when ignition is on.

Caution
the video wraps around, so over records footage, the time depends on resolution, and size of card, so have a second card and remove the original after an incident.
Note....
have a second card anyway.... you might not want plod to look at your card...if you have screwed up
The camera is your property, what you do with the info is up to you, it is not yet a legal requirement to have one, but like a black box in aeroplanes, I can see these being fitted to cars, if only to reduce insurance premiums.

Bloody foreigners!
Three Merseyside men face jail over an elaborate £1m “cash for crash” con.
bringing your crime and criminals over to Wales is just not on.

The more information that can be put on the internet about these people, the better chance of finding similar cases.

Well done for reporting it to the Police, there are procedures in place to deal with these situations, just that some people can't be ar**d to go through with it.

Well done... I might start to like those bumpers... (only might, don't get your hopes up lol).

So are you going to get Richo to make a car sticker with a X on it, so you can put one one each front door, just like "I like trucking" lol ?

PS... stop singing that damn song.........

I have a couple of dash cams , but a word of warning to people using them .... yes they do provide evidence of the crash , BUT they also record your driving too and most record audio too , some have gps which shows your speed too , obviously not just at the point of crash but also before it

Yes inhale hears that they can request the whole card to assess your driving, although if a spirited driver you could update say it's just been wiped or its a new batch of video.

Which reinforces my belief that you don't have to drive like a prat!

You then don't have to worry about your driving, being scrutinised and possibly criticized........

Switched of audio record on mine, I like silent movies.......

Hi,
Just to let you know that a number of our insurance schemes offer discounts for a wide range of in-car cameras.
Regards,
Dan.

Thumbs up Nice camera footage.

Impressive picture quality in daytime is night driving good too ?

I guess they are useful in circumstances where drivers have no lane discipline. Insurance companies seem to readily accept 50/50 liability in many cases.

Not got one though my mate has just fitted a front camera in his Merc.

Looking at the footage he seems to have just rolled back into you does not look like a scammer to me. Guess trying to blame you is typical of many drivers who do not want to accept responsibility for mistakes / poor driving.

If you had normal front bumpers fitted I think there would have been no damage to either vehicle. Oops not having a go at your bumper design.lol
