Default New horse in the running - Disco is out of the race

Well glad to have the 51 plate Disco's reputation as an unreliable money pit confirmed so that's out and TBH it looks dated.

1. New rider in the frame is Hyundai Terracan. About 75 minutes away distance wise.

2. Mitsubishi Shogun a contender two for sale less than an hour away.

3. Jeep Cherokee is still in the frame as its a local car 15 mins away.

I like the idea of a cam chain rather than a belt so the Jeep is a serious contender too.

Waiting to hear from Insurance company today hopefully.

Hi Briggie,
As our last one was a Santa Fe because I could not find a Terracan it's a serious contender.
There are lots for sale with Starship mileage but the one I have found is a tad under 70k so I am optimistic!

brian, mudlifecrisis has one, sounds good and big, body has styling cues
of one of older generation shoguns. have looked myself but lack of 3rd
row seats put us off.

think has 2.9 tdi common rail.

Just to be devilish, I'm going to toss something into the mix and then run for cover:

Not had any experience with the Terracan but I don't think you will go wrong with it, lot of car for your money.

That's point, I wanted a pathfinder bad before I got the terrano, big buggers and they handle offroad too!

We like the Pathfinder big style but there a few around that are automatic and under 100,000 miles for less than £5k except sometimes one that's 220 miles away!
