MAF
So on my year 2000 truck,i changed the said Maf around June/July last year.And today i had to replace it with a spare i had laying around.Motor factors have agreed to replace it.
So this got me thinking,what would be the expected life span of the Maf(Bosch) Obviously mileage is a factor.But would like revving the nuts off it.like off roading and needing some oomph (Not that i have on the 2000 one) |

It should last longer than a year my last T2's factory MAF lasted over 6 years & when I replaced it, it was still working perfect after being on the truck for 2 years later & I drove that truck really hard

Yeh I heard horror stories from Ray about the horrid Chinese ones as little as 2 weeks
Get the proper Bosch and be done with it |

Both Maf's were purchased from the same place.And had the word...wait for it Bosch stamped not printed on them.Exactly the same as the original Maf's.The first replacement one on the yr 2001 as i previously said is still going strong after a few years.And since the faulty one from the Yr 2000 is going back to Bosch for replacement.Then i guess i will find out if it is a snide.Because if anyone should know,it will be Bosch themselves.Anyway thanks to those that offered useful advice on the lifespan to be expected from a genuine Maf.Pretty much along the same lines as myself...
