Is it for holding one of the pully wheels still, or turning it round?

10 points to Fez

Will make keeping the bearings tight much easier as it'll fit on the end of the 1/2" ratchet.

Wasn't much more than a tenner either

Two blunt nails in a piece of wood and lever in between, but you can't torque it up to a particular value, but having said that, I don't find that necessary.

Mines the same idea. Two bits of bar welded onto the outside of a bit of tube with a handle for tightening.
Job done. Once I had found the right diameter tube it took all of 5 mins to weld it together

Hammer and punch is a bit of an ask on the trol. The bearing nut thing is deep, deep under cover
I have one on my Crimbo list

Got to admit this made tightening up the bearings a breeze

Of course now I have no excuse for them being slack for any length of time

Glad it works well oh the joy's of being able to adjust hub bearings with the wheels on no such joy for me having 17" T2 wheels as no big centre cap

Here's the latest listing bud

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Axle-4x4-H.../131364026257?

Price has gone up a wee bit since I got mine but still well worth it! Fast postage as well.

Probably fit the Terrano lock nuts too since they look the same to me
