thanks guys, i viewed many rotten td5 disco's before realising they were all rotten before viewing lots of terrano's, and finding lots of them rotten too...
serves us well and if it wasnt for going back to a campervan and getting rid of caravan it would still serve us for many years to come. my hearts always been with vw campers and now the kids are a bit older now is the time to change back.
i drive it on a 50% mix of veg oil (£12.99 for 20ltrs ) and diesel. recent mid and rear exhaust, and apart from oil changes she goes on, and on! 10 months mot, tax til december(see new laws tho). ive had the cv boots done, new rear tyres, ball joints, poly bushed front roll bar. lots more, test drive( on road) welcome.

always had vws mate, air cooled campers, beetles, fastbacks, then water cooled t25s then had a t4 caravelle which blew our minds on comfort and space. but it was gutless, and kids and caravans came along, and normal cars, though the terry filled every role. getting a t5 vw caravelle. plenty of grunt these days and nice day van interior.
