I eventually found my spare Midland and had a quick butchers as to how to fix it
Pretty simple me thinks. I'd go for turning the switch gear back to front in the plastic thingy.
A bit like this, the front of the CB will still be higher than the RVM

You can see here there's some nice metal work to fix to and then simply run the cables down the A post

That's a top tip

Since the DIN CB fell through, I have now bought one with all the controls on the mic and the other unit goes under the seat or dash.

Ah there we go, thats the rig I was on about the other day, Baby Midlands they call them, 40 Channel UK CB, very small and I know a guy who has got one and he runs it at 8w
