Default Cleaning indicator

Not really fussed as such, but is there a way to clean the inside of the facelift indicator housing?

Ive got a streak of mud across the lens.. I suspect the bottom is not completely sealed.

Only way I can think of is to take the lights off & put them in the sink with some hot soapy water & wrap a cloth around something like a bottle brush to clean the inside of the lights then rinse them under the cold tap & leave to dry then you could reseal around the light with clear silicone
