Two dogs are out for a walk.
One dog says to the other "Wait a minute. I will be right back."
He trots across the street and sniffs a lamp post for about a minute, then rejoins his friend.
"What was that all about?" the other dog asks.
"Just checking my messages."

Actually our cat does that after he has been in the cattery, he stops at various points around the garden, doing the same thing...

Went to our local zoo the other day and in one of the cages was a piece of toast!!
The sign read 'Bread in captivity'
