Default MOT today

This was for the wifeys motor, all I did to it was front ARB links and centre section exhaust, and it failed, both outer second row seat belts were frayed easy to change once the panels are off but what caused it? I first thought maybe the puppies had chewed them, but inside the NS panel I found a mice den, I think I killed it a while ago and as these belts are rarely used if at all did not notice, anyway will be putting a baited trap in for a couple of days just to make sure, but more importantly I discovered that the belt fabric can be changed on the spool, this could be useful if you only have a near side set and need an off side belt, also as the new TDi is so good will be selling this 2.4i soon, so anyone interested let me know before I stick it on fleabay, Rick
