Looks nice, I like the Daleks peeping through the fence from next door in the top photo.

I'd love to have a pond but we've got a dog that loves water so the liner would be trashed in no time.

We haven't got much in the greenhouse just a few toms and cucumbers.
The front garden isn't too bad but is a bit lacking of plants.
next year it will be stuffed full.

our garden is a complete mess, hoping to tidy it up and extend the driveway so my truck can go around the back of the house

also plant some more greenery

It does look nice doesn't it, far nicer than ours but I'm always too busy with voluntary work. Ours is mainly paved but would love to rip a lot of it up.

Very nice too, ours changes colour every month or so as different flowers appear.

Years ago when we were planning the garden, we noticed that at certain times of the year there was no colour, so off to the garden centre to buy some plants that were in flower at the time.

OK tell me about the grape vine, we had thought of putting one in the conservatory, but that can get up to temperatures of 50 c when left closed up.
I had heard about having the roots outside and entering the conservatory from the wall.
Clearly yours is outside, any hints tips etc, what variant is it?
What do you do in the winter to protect it?

yes bud. roots out side vine under cover.
ours is on a south facing wall but still only produces small grapes.
in a big green house or conservatory its still best to have the roots out side just for the water factor as they need gallons.

as for varaity Im not sure. its a black grape with pips so its best used for jus or pudding flavouring. It doesn't produce enough to use for wine.

grapes grow in mountainous regions or at least in hot climates. 50 degrees is ok as long as they are well waterd.

dunno mate. its about 2 days a week big

living on a corner plot its quite large.
I some times wish it was all slabbed for ease of maintainance.
But on days like today sitting in the garden with a beer and the waterfall flowing to drownd out the main road traffic, you could be any where you imagination takes you.
