Yeah clivvy he is insured. It seems strange Alarm never went off Dog normally barks if a leaf falls to the ground.if you know what i mean.So its either been towed or trailered away.i am not too genned up on Pajero's but i thought they had a immobiliser akin to the terrano.I know they can be bypassed, but on someones drive well lit up?

they could of disabled the alarm if it's easy to get to, then break into the truck. Push it away then either trailered away or craned. Steering lock can be broken easily too.

if no movement sensor, then they probably picked it up (front wheels up and winched onto wagon perhaps)

any scrapes/rubber on the drive as if its been dragged a little?

Yeah i thought that, but he always parks it forward facing his house almost touching the wall.
The strange thing is,i have been to see him.And he reckons it was seen tearing around the streets and almost rolled it at 5-30 this morning. Now i may be gullible. But how would they by pass the security on it.

How old was the Pajero? If it was a mk2 (pre 2000 ish) then assuming Mitsubishi marketed them the same as the Shoguns then I think immobilisers were an option only or even aftermarket fit and I assume alarms were similar.

I've had 2 '95 reg Shoguns a SWB and a LWB and both had central locking but only the LWB had an immobiliser (old style, "insert fob and wait for beeping before inserting key turning on ignition" kind - PITA ). Neither of them had alarms.

my mate had his scooby knicked and used in a ramraid, they cut the handbrake and used one of those dollys like the AA have. its on cctv and took less than 2 mins! proffesional criminals. A bloke i used to work with had a mitsubishi animal with all the extras including alloys imported from usa, when that got stolen he searched the local (in hull there are LOTS) gypo camp and found it parked next to another animal and they both had the same plates!!! It was defo his due to the wheels. coppers didnt care so he told them he was going to set it on fire and they soon turned up. apparently nobody owned it or the other one and the plates matched a car in kent.
thieving amoral scumbags are everywhere
