well keeping my legs crossed as a chap is coming up from southend for the zx in the morning.
had it on eb but took it off as no bids 7mins befor end, then got a mail from the chap who said he put a bid in,it was red when i stopped the sale. anyway i phoned him up and chatted, seems gen, agreed a price so collecting in the morning. only thing is i have just insured both the zx and t2 on a multi policy with admiral,i think a good price for com on both 401. then went on line to cancel my zx ins and the robbers want to deduct 50 of the refund for the priv. so now if he collects the zx i will have to go to admiral and cancel there ins as well as the other one.i hope admiral are ok due to a cooling off period. 229 for the t2,is that good or bad. |

well the good news is the zx sold,he was well pleased and supprised how nippy it was.
he came up and picked it up and i got him to take me to the waiting t2 at weeting 70mls and he agreed as i had put plenty of oil in the zx as i thought i was going to use it for the trip. he drove and he put it through its paces all the way so he had a 70ml test drive.well happy and of he went home to southend 100ml away,i put 4 ltrs of oil in to be kind. i then had a nightmare insurance problem too long to type but got the t2 covered and hitched up to van and set of to collingham 120ml away for the weekend rally to meet my brother. first impression of t2 as i had not ever drove it was i dont like it as i am used to smooth speed and good take off. the clutch leak drove me mad so i took it to a garage near where i was that my brother found on his pj forum,he could not see it till the monday so i went back after the weekend and it was the flexy pipe as suspected he phoned around and the best he could do was 2days away as it is a nissan part so no one had one. so back to the site and a phone call to my brother and he came back the same,2 days. any way i was of home the next day so phoned my mate who i had the t2 of off as i was going back to his and explaned and he phoned the main nissan at thetford who did not have one so ordered it and he picked it it the next morning at 8.30,how fast is that. cost discounted was 50 including a ltr of oil and vat. not cheap but when i get it off i will get a new flexy pipi made and crimped on so i will have a spare. got home to clacton ok and now like the t2. will sort out the pipe at my leisure now. |
