I was just reading the replies, and the idiot Biker was the one that got me...

To be honest, I would be surprised it any 4x4 drivers moved the stones, since most just want to drive from one end to the other having fun on the way, and if they wanted to have more fun than just driving the lane it's self, they would have driven in the ditch, not put the stones in there.

I do not see that it is any more likely to be a 4x4, as opposed to a Quad, or a trial biker, or local group of people who want to get the lane closed...

tossers, it's all bull shit, we have NO lanes up here in Scotland anymore as the counsel have closed them all, even to horses and dirt bikes, only way i can off road round here is illegally....i say stuff em, i drive sensibly and don't churn the ground up, what's the problem??

it's all bolox

horse riders can go anywhere they please under the whole rights of way act its only motorised/ engine driven vehicles that can't. and really you should speak to someone about using the foresty lanes, say its for you photography or something. but any permission is better than nowt. some forestry lanes do have permissions to be driven on at certain times.

There's its private land to insurance ain't an issue, aye, will see about speaking as I could say about the photography, yes I was wrong about the horses, sox mel as they ride about on private land down the road from my house.
