How much difference is there between a Nissan patrol & a Terrano Swb?
I presume the Terrano would drive more car like? Even looking at Rav 4 lwb now but think diesel is the way to go. |

Rav4 is a pretend offroader tbh
Patrol is the way to go, if u can find a solid example y60 gq If u go y61 avoid 3.0 diesel as its a bit of a problem lump Terranos are very capable offroad tho |

It will mostly get used on the road its just for some of the rutted muddy farm tracks and fields getting to shoots. Since I have found the Impreza may be awd but the turbo kicks in and its all wheel spin and lack of ground clearance.

If that's your requirement then get a Terrano, as you'll get a newer car for the money

hi & welcome
body lift will skin u bout £100 quid from milners, suspension i spent £230 on +2" shocks & springs from bloodred, torsion bars just wind up. when ur looking stick you hand up behind the back bumper as if you're heading for the top back lights, thats where the rear body mounts are, mine were rotten! if you see one with a clutch problem come back here & tell us the symptoms cos is most likely the dampner pipe or the flexi easy peasy fixes (don't tell the seller that tho) lol |
