Looks too good to be true... And I think it is.
What is is Petrol or Diesel? For starters, there can't be that many 2.8 tonne caravans, let alone 3 tonne ones in the UK, so I would be very surprised that a 2.7 T2 would be too small to tow any UK caravans, even the Gypsy one shown in the pictures. So I don't believe the reason he is selling. Even if it is to stay with in the 85% towing guidelines, there is not much difference like for like between the 2.7 and the 3.0 litre versions weight. He says he bought it a few weeks ago, but the MOT is January, so he must have put the MOT on it... must be the first gypsy car with an MOT... Did he prang it as well... Is there worse wrong? I also thought that once something had been declared a writeoff, even cat d, if you do repair and re-insure it and then prang it again, they will only pay out the right off value, not the book price, so no chance of getting between £4500 and £5200. |

Was wondering about that? What can't a 2.7 tow that a 3l can? I'v towed some serious weight with a 2.7 and anything heavier would be seriously illegal anyway.
