Default Chipping

As a new member there are various questions that I have.
My question at the moment is Chip or no Chip.
In my last vehicle a Discovery it made a significant difference in Torque and fuel consumption. I am not worried about the torque as I am happy with the power, but has anyone experience of any consumption improvement.
I have a 2003 Terrano. Manual, deisel.

I have a PSi powerbox and have to say it gives a noticeable difference and makes it even better to drive.

Explore this link on the Speedchip also. It takes a feed from the airflow meter so is intelligent enough not to overfuel the engine at idle like the cheaper Speedbox I tried first

You'll only raise boost by altering the waste gate actuator

Ah I see, or a decent bleed valve.

I assume if the above chip works with the maf readings then it will increase fuel inline with increase in boost (as the maf senses boost pressure on td27)

Nah, I think the maf sensor one tells the ECU the air is cold and so over fuels to match
