Slindon and Boxgrove water (read mud soup) clogs rads very quick, so rad rear mounted, it never ceases to amaze me the number of road going motors that visit the site, and on the way home see many of them pulled over with steam billowing, this motor of mine is fixed in low box and the front diff is welded, with auto hubs, I am running 31 tyres, it goes very well in flat mud but I suffer in deep ruts, for some of the hill climes I need to do something with the rear diff, but on the whole it goes very well, and the rear winch is good, Rick

been thinking of it, but half shafts out which means brake back plates which are well rusty, so it is a lot of work for not a great deal of gain, think it will be more benificial to remove the fuel tank so stopping it hitting the ground on steep inclines, Rick

Yes you are right, but the brake pipes are going to be a problem, well rusty, and yes I have a brake pipe flare kit, but with all the other stuff that needs doing at the mo, just no time, still got an engine on the bench half rebuilt, Rick
